  • Kaite Burkholder Harris is the Executive Director at the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa. Previously, she worked at the national level as a Policy Analyst with Reaching Home, the federal government’s Homelessness Partnering Strategy. Kaite has also worked with communities across the country as a System Planner with the Canadian Observatory on Homelessness.

    As the Co-Chair of the Ontario Alliance to End Homelessness, Kaite advocates with every level of government and has become a leading voice in urging governments and communities for housing-focused solutions to ending homelessness.

  • Jean-Pierre Poulin, a serial entrepreneur with roots in Beauce, has made significant strides in the business world over the past 25 years. As the founder and CEO of Devcore, a respected real estate developer based in Gatineau, he has played a pivotal role in the acquisition, development, and construction of assets valued at close to $500 million in Québec and Ontario.

    In addition to his responsibilities at Devcore, Mr. Poulin also serves as Executive Chairman at 1VALET, a company he founded in 2016 which is now renowned for its intelligent building technology. With a tenure of 8 years as its CEO, he has overseen the successful implementation of 1VALET's innovative Building Operating Systems (BOS) across North America. Under his leadership, 1VALET has cemented its position as a frontrunner in the industry, earning widespread recognition.

    Despite his achievements, Mr. Poulin remains grounded, attributing his success to teamwork and perseverance. Beyond the realm of business, Mr. Poulin’s core values and commitment to society are evident, particularly through his involvement with vulnerable populations. This includes his hands-on work with people experiencing homelessness and through the Dev Centre in Cornwall, his dedicated efforts to welcome and provide essential support to asylum seekers, aiding in their integration into Canadian society.

    Biographie de Jean-Pierre Poulin

    Jean-Pierre Poulin, un entrepreneur en série originaire de la Beauce, a réalisé des avancées significatives dans le monde des affaires au cours des 25 dernières années. En tant que fondateur et PDG de Devcore, un promoteur immobilier respecté basé à Gatineau, il a joué un rôle essentiel dans l'acquisition, le développement et la construction d'actifs d'une valeur proche de 500 millions de dollars au Québec et en Ontario.

    En plus de ses responsabilités chez Devcore, M. Poulin occupe également le poste de président exécutif chez 1VALET, une entreprise qu'il a fondée en 2016 et qui est désormais renommée pour sa technologie intelligente pour bâtiments. Pendant 8 ans à la barre de l’entreprise en tant que PDG, il a supervisé la mise en œuvre réussie des systèmes d'exploitation de bâtiment (BOS) innovants de 1VALET à travers l'Amérique du Nord. Sous sa direction, 1VALET a consolidé sa position de leader dans l'industrie.

Rob Turnbull profile photo
  • Rob has 30 years of experience in health care and housing including public health, community health centres, acute care hospitals, community living, youth detention, family physician engagement, long term care and homelessness. Rob’s most recent senior managerial posts include Chief Operating Officer at Menno Home & Menno Hospital in Abbotsford, BC and Director of Primary Health Care and Chronic Disease Management at Interior Health Authority in Kelowna, BC.

    He has a proven track record in optimizing resource allocations, introducing innovative and evidence-based operations and developing mutually-beneficial partnerships with similar business entities, universities and community organizations. Rob also has a strong background in governance and strategic planning in non-profit organizations and in organization development including culture change, a coaching management model and self-led teams. He obtained his Ph.D. in Community Health, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Toronto.

  • Scott Aitchison was born and raised in Huntsville, Ontario - a community where neighbours show up for neighbours and your word is your bond. After serving as Town Councillor, District Councillor and Deputy Mayor, he was elected as Mayor of Huntsville in 2014 on a promise of fiscal discipline, responsible governance and excellent customer service. In 2019, Scott once again stepped up to put action to words when he ran to be a Member of Parliament. Seeing his ability to get results, the residents of Parry Sound-Muskoka overwhelmingly sent Scott to Ottawa. Scott Aitchison believes that there is nothing wrong about Canada that cannot be fixed with everything that is right about it.
